Introduction
LumiFind is the essential tool for anyone who struggles to remember where their documents, images, voice clips, video recordings, or other files are stored. Even if you forget the file name or its location, LumiFind helps you find it effortlessly.

The name "LumiFind" is inspired by two words: Lumify (meaning to illuminate or make clear) and Find. LumiFind helps you find your files by making them visible and easy to discover, even when you don’t remember their name or location.
If you work with notes, documents, videos, or emails in multiple languages, you may sometimes forget which language you used or where the file was saved. Perhaps even by your browser or office program without you noticing. LumiFind solves this problem for you.
Powered by local AI, LumiFind works entirely on your device. Requires no subscriptions, no cloud, no tracking. You can focus on what truly matters, knowing your searches are private and secure. The AI runs locally, delivering fast results - even faster than you might expect. For slower devices, LumiFind offers optimized, smaller models to ensure smooth performance.
So what kind of files can be searched? LumiFind analyzes files using four main analyzers. Each extracts meaning from a different file type so you can search by content, not just filenames.
- Document Analyzer reads PDFs, DOCX, TXT, EPUB, and more. Splits large documents into chunks, creates embeddings, and stores them for semantic search.
- Image Analyzer extracts visual features from photos. Lets you find images by meaning, not just names.
- Voice Analyzer transcribes audio to text. You can search spoken words inside recordings.
- Video Analyzer combines Voice Analyzer (audio track) and Frame Analyzer (object detection in frames). Search scenes and spoken content together.
